One of the better ones which had about 6 cars was at the pub next to par market about 20 months ago, them after that it dwindled down to the same few faces. There just does'nt seem to be a interest down here.

Well how about a one off scoobynet meet, im up for that, car is off the road atm but that should only be for a few days, rear caliper has decided to sieze.

Sws,sidc hmm i never really hit it off with either, i joined sn and the others to get a feel for the places then decide on my favourite after a while.

SWS was childish beyond belief, although it may differ now but I cant be arsed with any of it

Yup it was although it had some decent people, but i didn't like how they carried the marque that was my main bugbear.

Sidc, hmm dunno what to make of that place and tbh after seeing the fighting of the past it made me want to avoid both anyway, very childish.

But im not here to moan, so are we up for this?

Car is still off the road for a few days, im waiting on some calipers to arrive so i can crack on with things, on the upside ive nearly finished changing my crap foam filter to a proper apexi power intake.

sidc is a good family site ( if your from essex ) it won't take crap like s/net does

Ditto Ed...... beer

It will have to wait a week or 2 as front pads are gone and AP rear breaks need to be fitted

oh yes - I reckon you could be right with the Beer comment.

As for not taking Crap like S/Net - I agree however there is a lot of stuff on here I never read whereas on SIDC there is a lot of interesting stuff to read.........personally I prefer SIDC Forum to just about any other.

Car is now officially sorted.

Took her to gupa-p for some laser alignment, the replacement caliper arrived and i fitted that yesterday with the rear camber bolts today.

Nice improvement, might fit perrin arb's later on we'll see.

I always seem to see loads of scoobs around St. Austell, most wave. I have been really busy with work and family. Ought to be able to get to some meets now though, Brit would be good, not far from my home (car would barely be warm!!)

Rob

P.S. I seem to check here (SN) and am a member of SIDC (discounts already paid for membership on there!) Rarely seem to visit SWS now. Time is also a factor!!

theres a meet organised by sws at the borough arms in bodmin on the 20th of this month.
I tried to gauge interest in sn cornwall meets in the southern forum to little joy!
is there seriously enough peeps interested cos the weather is nearly here and surely theres enough scoobs in cornwall to arrange a decent gathering?
