Whichever trainer they sign is going up the creek without a paddle.
Blaming the trainer when in all fairness the team on the pitch is the worst they've had in years will leave the new trainer with one massive job.
They need quality reinforcements on all lines, and NOT Fellaini quality, but topclass proven players. But If the Glasiers do not give the budget for those players I can see this ManU being a middlevel team for years to come.

AVB comes in for some uneccessary flack at times. Up until losing Gareth Bale and having to endure what has become an obviously flawed signing strategy from Franco Baldini, he was doing very well at Tottenham. Record points haul last year, good win rate % and a defence that leaked very few goals up until the City/Liverpool white washes. He may not have been everyone's cup of tea but he was doing a good job with our lot. I still think out best team of my era was Redknapp's then his a reasonable second. I get that Chelsea fans were let down by him but I don't feel short-changed by him as a Spuds fan. Just wish he had played Adebayor and Defoe more often. Both were proven talent. Wasted that!!
I think Moyes had to go. He hadn't won anything. United need a proven winner with a supporting track record. Ancelotti would be a great asset. I only say that as I want Van Gaal at Spurs as Sherwood's defensive strategies look woeful at best and it's no good playing like Ossie ardille's 90s team scoring three then leaking four. Ancelotti always carries himself well in the media too. Never saw him goading other managers. Just went about his business and won a double. As you do!
