Ive been saying it for years, no one wants to come to the premiership unless they get offered robinho style money cos the weather is crap and the wags have no where to shop!
Vidic's missus keeps trying to get him to go to barca, Ronaldo has said numerous times he hates the climate and doesnt want to be in england long!
Same with beckham, missus wanted to leave england!
Same when Owen went abroad, his missus wanted to live somewhere hot!
Flame me all you want, but the only decent players who will stay in the prem are home grown ones with enough balls to tell the missus to STFU!
If england had a decent climate, the messi, kaka and ronaldo trio would be at Old Trafford!

It's a fair point. Barca is my fave city in Europe and I'd rather live Madrid than Manchester given the choice.
Hopefully theyll find a replacement that don't mind tracking back when they **** up on the ball. Bet rooneys happy he might not have to run back half as much.

All those knocking Ronaldo and picking faults in him I think you're forgetting that he's been the difference these past 3 years between United winning 3 league titles and the champs league. All the other players contributed but his talent has been tby far and away the biggest defining factor in that success.
I just hope whoever gets to wear the red no7 now is worthy of it. Cantona, Beckham, Ronaldo... not a best list.
i still cant see real madrid winning the league next year, they cant defend for **** they need at least a left back and a new centre back. All well and good going forward but need to stop teams scoring like united have done.

True, but you can hardly accuse them of not trying to turn things round for next season, can you? I mean Kaka, Ronaldo and probably David Villa FFS. Not a bad show of intent on what they expect to achieve in 2009 - 2010 is it?

No mention of of their defensive frailties though, thats their problem. Barca showed this by bashing them 2-6 at the Bernabeu
They need to have a balance, and not just buy the best creative players. I do feel sorry for their back 4

it is time to buy some one who will work for the team and track back when things are going against us, someone who isnt as petulant as that peice of sh1t
STI i dont know why you stand up for the guy cos as far as i can see his bad points far outweight the good points for the team!
anyway i can enjoy next season much more as he isnt playing for us any more lets see who we bring in now, im pretty certain SAF will have someone lined up
