You're always going to love Nasser being an Essex man
But your point is valid. I always felt Nasser started the revolution and he was partly responsible for modernising the England set up along with a few others, and Vaughan embraced this and carried on the good work.
Yes it does seem a little low key, it all went down hill very quickly and seems he's not being given the respect he deserves, The ECB should get him down to Cardiff next week and give him a proper send off, a small announcement thanking him and the a walk round the pitch at Sophia Gardens to a standing ovation should do it. But the ECB dont do things like that do they.
