It's a nice position to be in and makes a change to be enjoying the season after Christmas
If you'd have offered me 4th place at the start I'd have snatched your hand off, but now anything could happen. Good to see a few teams in a proper title battle and be part of it.
Credit to Brendan for the man management he's done this season with a limited squad. He doesn't get involved in the egos, dramatics and mind games that certain others like to play and just focuses on the next game.
We've got a great chance to bring the title home but the beauty of this league is that anything happen. No real expectations here, just enjoying each game.

Great fightback from City after we trounced them in the first half. Credit to Silva but that was a massive, massive win. Stevies face at the end said it all.

I think, given the recent Hillsborough findings, this title will be just the tonic for that City. Stevie G deserves a title for loyalty too. Merseyside really has done very well this year. Been a very open Premiership campaign. Not sure what Tottenham will do this week, probably go 4 down in 1 minute then spend the remaining trying to equalise then high five each other when they blag a point. wTf were they doing at Albion?! It's not comical anymore. The directors need to make a plan, stick with it and see what happens. Managing your club like Abramovich without his money doesn't work. 2 carling Cups and 1 Champ League showing since 1991 is proof of that.

Pontificating
I don't get the Gerrard loyalty thing he was on his way to Chelsea until the local intervention with menace. No doubt a player of his quality deserves an epl title but not with that club.
I'd take cfc or mcfc before them.

great game plan by chelski, up to us to break them down and we didn't. Bad move bringing Aspas on, as
1) he is crap
2) it left us open to the way chelski were playing and goal difference is likely to count.
Think it is going to be 2nd place now for us, unless we get 12 goals in the last 2 games
Chelski are boring though, 10 men always behind the ball

I thought we had a shot on goal within the first 5 minutes? where as your lot took and hour to hit the target
And 20% of your 70 odd % possession was picking the ball out of the net!

Personally, I would have played the same anti-football tactics as your lot. We didn't need to win the game, a draw would have been fine. Just sit back, waste time and don't bother attacking. Credit to Brendan for wanting to control the game and keep attacking, but it's a waste of time when the other team doesn't want to play.

If he's so good, he should've been prepared better and had a plan B to counter them parking the bus.
Morninho got his tactics absolutely spot on for the occasion (yes, he's done it against Utd too - when we were title contenders waaaay back when ), so the sissy boys at Anfield need to man up and get better boot studs
