Question S204 spoiler on a blobeye...good idea or not?

Hi,

I have been looking at a number of different spoilers for my blobeye and one that struck my eye was the S204 (replica) one. It looks nice however I am not too sure if it would suit a blobeye

If anyone has any advice or pics please share.

P.S. This is the one I am thinking of:

Above is a Kakumei carbon fibre S204 spoiler that I had fitted to my old Blobeye Spec C.

I did change it eventually for a lip spoiler as above, I think I preferred it with the lip spoiler but they are both worthy alternative choices to the standard STi spoiler.

Doesn't look too bad with it on, have you got any pictures of the rear? I thought it may look a bit too small on a blobeye and that a UK300 spoiler would suit it better such as:

What was your import duty like? Is it possible to send as a 'gift'

The s203 was blobeye. Thinking of swapping out my s202 spoiler for a s203 IMHO the 203 suits the blobeye the best.

Yh it sure does but on a wrx with little cosmetic mods it wouldnt suit it IMO. Thats why I thought the S204 spoiler would be a bit more subtle.

Any one know the part number for the S204 spoiler? Want one for my Impreza, hoping it will bolt into the WRX holes.

It doesn't bolt into wrx holes, they are totally different mounting points, been down that path years ago.

Ended up getting a uk300 dog ear spoiler and shaving the points of top of the blade. Meant that i didn't have to drill the bootlid....plus chance of finding an s204 spoiler for sensible money was zero back then, even less now

You beat me to it Gambit, was gonna say get one off a uk300 haps and shave the top fins off coz i knew I'd seen one before done like that, sure it was actually your car I'd seen it with that mod done to the spoiler after seeing the picture.

Yea thanks seen one of your old threads where you shaved the top parts off. Did you sand them down? Really do like the S204 spoiler, but not going to drill new holes in the boot for it. Might try the Prodrive route, not as nice of a spoiler but as I'd need to respray it anyway might be worth doing.

Not sure if my sanding skills are up to scratch anymore. Does look good though. Such a shame S204 spoiler doesn't line up with wrx holes. Wanted something different than the standard STI spoiler.
