Is there a special sort of primer thats to be used for alloy metals or for aluminium? Are they available in can form and are they very dangerous?

Cheers

Use a good Self etching primer on bare alloy first, this will eat into the alloy, then use a 2k primer which will grip to the etch. Flat with 400's 800's 1200's and then paint with whatever your painting it with.

Jobs a goodun. Unless you dont have access to a compressor and paint gun.

2k (or 2 pack) primer /paint is highly poisonous (it contains cyanide( or it used to in the late 80's) cyanide is used fer killin prisoners on death row) so maybe its not fer use by the budding DIY'er
as fer etchin primer I'm guessin that aint good fer you either. But i dont know if its available ina can

Dont forget smoking kills as well, and drinking or eating fatty foods blah blah.

Use Upol etch and Upol High build in that case... Just so you don't DIE pmsl.
