Default '99 JDM STi Wagon - £2,800

It's with regret that I need to sell my '99 JDM STi wagon . I can't justify two cars and don't have space etc.

I got this last year and as far as I know it came straight from Japan.

This price is stupidly cheap and it comes with Oz Ultralegga alloys shod with Toyo Proxes (loads of life left). I know I can get more but with my work schedule I need to sell it soonish.

66k miles
Genuine STi
MOT until March 2012

I had Prosport Stockport do the 60k service last year so all that stuff was done - belts, plugs, fluids etc. They also serviced in earlier this year so you know it has been in safe hands with them.

It's not modified in any way except for the alloys.

Drives good.

Interior is good for the age, exterior has a few scratches, chips etc, mostly repaired, tiny dents if you look very hard on doors.

PM if you are interested. I'm in South Manchester.

It`s getting more like four rooms everyday on here.

If I roll a six I get the car for £1500 if you roll a 1 I`ll pay you full asking price.

Seriously good luck with the sale matey it looks a minty standard wagon worth £3000 every day. So hang out for it.

Good car. Has it had a clutch yet, and does it have passenger airbag? And if you don't mind, how much was insurance and where from?

cheers

OEM clutch I think, not sure if it has been changed. But seems pretty good. I don't think it has a passenger airbag.

I got insurance with Keith Michaels. Cost would mostly depend on your no claims I think.

Hiya Joe, I found your Pistonheads Ad for it. Has it been remapped for UK fuel, or had any engine work done, rebuilds etc. Some were notorious for letting go around these mleages if not mapped on UK fuel. I am interested as per when my insurance payout pops in the post

No and no.

I run it on V-power it's only 1 ron below Jap fuel.

If I was going to track it maybe I'd think about a re-map but jap OEM maps are always quite rich. It doesn't det and the engine is fine.

Wasn't suggesting going for more power, more like mapping for UK fuel

You should sell this sooner rather than later I would say

No what I mean is that the biggest danger from det is going to happen if you track it 'cos the intercooler will get heat soaked.

There is no way 1 RON difference is going to be a problem for street driving. OEM maps are always conservative and rich.

Anyway I've got some interest on Pistonheads going on so if anyone wants to buy they best get in!
