V3 STI Type RA
Up for sale is my 1997 V3 STI Type RA. I purchased it from madisonmonkey (Jim) off this site, see link https://www.scoobynet.com/subaru-444...i-type-ra.html.
I have decided to sell it as I am wanting to put a new kitchen in my house and renovate it ready to be sold.
I really don’t want to sell the car but needs must.
Since buying the car I have spent over £1000 on a service at Richard Henry motorsport, a front mount intercooler, a K&N induction kit, a fuelab FPR and a remap by Andrew Carr.
He said the car was very strong and pulled very hard, he also said it will be running around 330bhp.
Other little touches I have added are an original flare, original matts and a brand new gear **** from Japan.
I also changed the exhaust back to a standard STI silencer and fitted a radio (subaru radio from a bugeye).
The car is in very good condition with no usual rust on the rear arches and only a minor scab at the bottom of the rear window which can’t be seen when the boot is closed.
I won’t make a long list of parts as everything else is listed in the add done by Jim which can be found following the link above.
I work away a month at a time and I am due to go away in a week, so if you would like to come and have a look while I am away, my friend can show you the car.
The car is located near Leeds.
Some photos.
More photos on the link from Jim's add.
Please don't hesitate to contact me for any more info

I have driven this car a couple of times, and been a passenger in it fairly regularly- I can vouch for it being a sound, clean example. This will be a great car for someone!
Good luck with the sale Norm, shame you're parting with it.

I have now put down a deposit on a kitchen so could do with selling the car within the next few weeks really. Price dropped to £4800 and i think its a very good car for the money.
