Thumbs down its that time again!

car booked in again to r n goldens on friday for inspection on rear shocks. at the moment it sounds like there is someone in the boot trying to get out using a hammer. the near side was replaced in 2007 and again in 2008, but as i contributed 50% towards the cost in 2007 i supposedly get (quote) "an unprecedented three year warranty"
whats the odds on getting it replaced again?

OMG thats terrible, they NEED to redesign them - a years lifetime is pathetic. Everyone who's had a problem should complain to Subaru. It's ridiculous the number of people who have problems with them.

I sure hope the rears I just replaced last longer than that.

result of the inspection by goldens - both the rear shock absorbers need replacing again!
this will make a grand total of 5 nearside & 3 offside. just trying to sort this out with subaru uk.
not bad for a 52 plate with 50,500 miles on the clock.

RESULT just had both rear shockers replaced - one because i contributed towards a previous replacement & the other as a goodwill claim. respect to PHIL EVANS @ subaru customer services. however the level of service recieved from r.n. goldens was dire. i was booked in for an automatic impreza courtesy car but strangely this was not available, the next car on the courtesy list was again unavailable all that was left was a "w" reg toyota corolla that had no functioning radio and stunk of wet dogs. way to go by the dealers to satisfy to customers who are inconvenienced through no fault of their own.
