How to clean out Boost Control Solenoid
1. Connect the green plugs and turn on the ignition (dont start engine)
2. The solenoid should start pulsing / clicking
3. Remove the top pipe and squirt brake cleaner in, then re-fit hose.
4. If it still plays up then it is probably worth removing all the hoses that attach to it and cleaning them out aswell.
5. Turn off ignition and disconnect green plugs
The green plugs are up behind the steering wheel

Excellent, good guide and with clear pics! cheers!
Is this a procedure that's recommended in a maintenance capacity or just if you seem to have problems with the car? My car's an MY97 UK Turbo, and it's probably never had the boost valve cleaned, or the MAF for that matter!
