boost and oil temp. I know its fairly straight forward (for people other than me!!). Boost from blanked off nipple ready for the job. and oil temp from top cyl3. But its avoiding hot bits with the wiring and general electrical stuff im not keen on.

There are 2 screws, one is where the bonnet release handle is, the second one is the other side low down. The top part is held down by clips which you can just pull off.

open the window a little and feed the tube for the boost pipe out of the window and in through the edge of the bonnet. try not to get it crimped else the boost gauge will give inaccurate results.

for illumination you can gripfill a maglight in front of gauges, at the correct angle.

shut up you lot!!!

managed it now!! just was investigating really! not actually attemping gauges today. Im intending to have a switch wired in so that i can turn off light feed to gauges if i want. (esp as im gonna have an a-piller set up, can imagine that on a simple motorway drive in the dark i might want them out of my vision for a while)

dependant on the gauges, the wiring for the lighting is built in and cannot be turned off.
