Nice one buddy, just booked our ferries as it goes, on the 10am over to Dunkirk and 6pm return. As I mentioned above we will be in a blue modded blob wrx, Celica GT4, MK5 Golf GTI and maybe a few more.

Likewise! Didn't realise you could take lids on tourist days? Will have to bring mine this year if so. Just hoping for it to be dry this year, didn't dry out once last year when I was over which made hatzenbach interesting!

That picture is from one of last years DN track days I did, but you can wear helmets on TF days if you want.

Good to know. Are you over in the hawkeye again? I'm sure we will cross paths in the car park.

Was going to take the hatch but taking the blobeye that's in my profile garage. About to fit some Sparco buckets and harnesses along with new droplinks and anti lift kit so looking forward to seeing the change if all goes well. The others I'm with have a nice Celica GT4, MK5 Golf GTI and Fiesta ST.

The seats should make a big difference, I'm not a fan of the Newage OE seats.
One of my favourite upgrades that I wish I'd done first

That's good to hear. The only downside with it being Sparco is those Italian delivery times! Ordered Sparco sub frames and a low profile base cushion (meant to be good for taller drivers). 30 day estimated delivery time...

Yeah have a delivery date at the latest for the 22nd so should be good. The new cushion base however won't make it as I found out today I'll make do though.

Just new drop links to fit now...never ends

I used Buddy Club rails and some side mounts which worked well

Out of interest does anyone here buy those European safety kit things with the GB stickers, triangles, spare lamps etc....last year I only bothered with a small GB sticker and a triangle. Correct me if I'm wrong but is it just France that's so hard on this or have the rest of Europe jumped on board?

If the weather holds out think I'll be giving the car a wash and polish today.

Made it after an eventful trip! Lost one car in the UK with a dead alternator but thankfully he has managed to source another so is heading down in the morning. Looking forward to a well earned sleep!

Well what a busy weekend! I kept my eyes open for everyone but didn't manage to spot anyone. Some great cars there, the Gumpert Apollo has to be my favourite which turned up on the Sunday afternoon. Only got a few laps in myself mainly down to how busy it was and the constant closures due to crashes. Didn't feel like I could relax for 1 second on track either with cars coming at you from every angle. Think next trip will be midweek, got chatting to a Brit with a V12 Vantage who had been there since Wednesday and he said it was loads better then with only a few cars on it at a time.

Still had a great time and the car survived. Found a few pics from a ring photographer, will post them up later.

If your going from Dover on the ferry I go via Dunkirk as it knocks some miles off your journey and its usually cheaper via DFDS seaways.

Other than that the journey is pretty easy, only needed to stop once for fuel once I was on the continent.

Did you just stay on track mate and go through the toll gate on the straight? I pulled in after each lap, mainly to stay with the group of cars I was with. Shame there was so many crashes and so many people that weekend really from a track time point of view.
