It has just arrived here now from the docks. Completely flat battery !! Usual thing.
We have found a biggish oil leak from the rear of the engine or front of gearbox and the guys are going to assess what needs to be done.
I am out of the office all day Choosday and will catch up on Weds,
Car is STi 2; First reg in Japan November 1995.

have you still got this David?
Yes I do, We have had a problem with the engine, that got its a*se ragged off by the dock workers when it arrived and damaged all 4 pistons It has now been rebuilt with NEW Wossner forged pistons and APi Steel rods making it even better than before...............
We are so busy that we don't have time to put it back together at the moment BUT if you want a look see, you can at anytime and of course for serious interest, it'll be back together in the blink of an eye.
Call if I can help. David

don't you just love people that treat something that's not theirs like that!
no rush for me right this second. i have 2 cars at the moment (astra coupe and type ra which i need to sell, unless you want to take both in direct exchange for this?) and can obviously only drive one at a time :lol1:. so i was looking to sell both and get a more "serious" car. Has it still got the back seats in and are they useable? warrenty etc? oh and how loud is the exhaust system on it? that's one condition of me going back to one car is that it's not too loud, the wife will only moan :lol1:
Cheers,
Matt.

Matt, That won't be much fun as a road car with that dog box in it.
I'll pass on the trade in, unless the RA takes my fancy, as l have no older, cheaper cars at all to sell at the moment. Let me have some details and pics if possible please. Pics to dob@apiengines.com

what's the box like compared to cookies? is it that harsh?
had to ask about the trade in ;) few pics in view my scooby. the stickers can go and it can be fully detailed (that's a second job for me, just starting up my business so it's already well looked after).
covered about 96k km, still limited and odometer in kph but has lockwood dials to show speed in mph. spoiler has been removed and replaced with m3 lip spoiler but is only temporary as not sure if i like it or not yet :lol1:. Still have the old spoiler that can go straight back on - low level. front and rear strut braces, full decat, blitz induction kit, rally mudflaps but have the original type ra ones that could be put back, face lift sti alloys but also have the original 15" type ra alloys in mint condition.
have got hayward and scott equal length headers to go on it and an my02 intercooler. Few other bits that's i've not go around to putting on yet. such as oil temp and pressure gauges, boost gauge, 330mm comp brake pro race 7 brake setup, 17 x 7.5 khan rs 6 spoke in black with brand new tyres, 3 point harnesses and fog light covers. probably something else i've forgotton :lol1:
oh and it's a red one so pretty rare!
