I wonder if a switched on insurance company could tell if its an sti engine on a wrx log book, if i crashed that car would i still be covered??

If so i might be interested!

There is no way to tell an STi engine from a WRX without taking it to bits. the red manifold can be stripped back to bare to make it a bit more convincing.

You'd need to declare the extra gauges etc. on the dash, But you could reasonably well state that it has not been modified and has not been mapped or the ECu changed.

Your decision.

Took a deposit for this today guys. Too late!, you've all missed the bargain of the year.:cry:

The gentleman who 'bought ' this car has dropped out due to a problem with his hips or legs and now needs an automatic car.

It is still for sale. Form an orderly queue guys. I am out of the country until 10th March but anyone here can demo it if necessary.
