Hi Harvey , how are you / things?
Free BTT for you.
PS is the pipework available as a spare as the one under n/s radiator looks oxidised since winter!
Also
I noticed some FMIC on here where pipe direction flows in opposite direction ... from turbo past throttle to FMIC via n/s and returns from FMIC via o/s wing hole to throttle - so no U-Turn immediately aftr turbo outlet ... posibly better flow?

Hi Neil : Nice to hear from you.
I can supply individual pipes if required as I keep a couple of sets in stock for eventualities but give me plenty notice just in case. Hopefully a replacement will not be necessary. The pipes are aluminium and therefore they oxidise in contact with the road salt used in the UK during the Winter. Obviously in some countries they don't have snow or they do not use road salt.
The cure is to apply stone chip or similar bitumous type material to the pipes entering and flowing from the core. An aerosol of stone chip can be had from most trade motor factors. The white powdery corrosion can look very bad but the pipes will stand several years exposure to the road salt before they leak in extreme cases. I can also supply pipes that are powder coated in almost any colour you want except tartan. :) A complete set powder coated adds about £40.
Some companies flow the air in the opposite direction to Hybrid on the Classic but I think it makes little difference as there are swings and roundabouts regardless of which direction is used. The latest Hybrid New Age flows in the opposite direction anyhow. On my own cars and on those that I am requested to do for customers, if they want, I can clock the turbo so the compressor outlet faces the driver side wing and not the passenger side. I then cut the hot pipe and shorten it and use a length of silicon to connect to the turbo compressor outlet. This obviously removes the bend up over the turbo. Clocking the turbo is not difficult but it does require the making and mounting of a bracket to carry the WG actuator.
I cannot prove this makes any difference to power delivery and as the air from the compressor can be well over 200 c. I don't think it makes any difference that this pipe actually runs over the turbo but removing 400 mm or whatever of pipe run and a bend cannot be a bad thing.
If you want me to look out photographs let me know.

Damn, wanted Tartan pipes and a barrel of Scottimax! ;)
It was the 180 degree bend right out of turbo I was more concerned with, outlet pipe is heat wrapped anyway!
Cheers

Could you list / send me the sizes of the "jubilee" clips in case I needt to replace them?
Thanks

Cheers Harvey
The Hybrid clamps are still fine, it's the jubilee ones on turbo outlet, throttle etc. that are getting weak and I was looking at Mikalor types ( Jubilee super are nice but 3 times the price of Mikalor ! ) to replace them.
Do you have Mikalor in the right sizes?
