How much extra cooling do these give?
Would it be a reasonable alternative to fitting an oil cooler, on a 320bhp classic that does trackdays?
Ed - do you supply silicone hose kits too? (MY'00 STi6 blue)
cheers
Andy

These give up to 30% better water running temps but i would not say that they are an alternative to an oil cooler.
We have the 2 Piece water hose kits in stock

Anyone fitted their classic rads yet ? I've just tried fitting mine today and it doesn't fit at all
Its too wide and too thick, just won't go in no matter what I tried.
Here's a couple of pics i've just taken to show the problem,as you can see there's no way it's going in there !
Here's the standard rad in place to show the difference:
So has anyone else had this problem ? Have I got a rad for a different model or something ?

Hi guys just looking at you're photo and it lookes like your fan is fitted on the left side of the rad. on my classic mine is on the right hand side. there is 2 plugs on the loom under the rad so i assume you can use either side. Hope this helps. mine went straight in no problem but my fan is mounted on the right hand side as i said. only problem i have is that the top mount don't sit as flat as they did but they tighten up fine and i've had no problems. when filling i think it holds just over 8 litres.
