Saw Simon yesterday after I'd had an RCM kit and catch can fitted, and he got 440/390 out of my SC42 billet with VPower only.
That's on a 2005 STI standard block.
He keeps saying this word "meth" to me....

Damn! that's impressive! Spec?
By RCM kit are you referring to a turbo back? What boost is that running at?
Aftermarket ECU or an ECUtek remap? Is it one of the new 42+'s?
Very well done by the way

I see people favour the 46 on the 2.5 but I'm still tempted to try it on a 2.0

Sc42 would be my choice on 2.0. I have done 46 on 2.0litres bit the 42 is better suited.

Go for it Giles you wont regret it mate, the difference between the maps is very noticeable to say the least.
And if the car puts a smile on your face with the v-power map, wait until the Jolly Green Methster has worked his magic with the meth map.

RCM induction kit mate.
1.7 bar for a very short period tailing back to 1.6 if I'm reading the graph correctly.
Alcatek ECU.
For full spec see my garage.

Kev, would you say the new 46billet+ would suit a 2.0l better than the previous or would it still be advisable to stick with the SC42+?
Looking to buy one next month possibly so would be good to hear your opinion and if they're both readily available

Kev,
I'm getting my hands on a used sc46 with a 58mm inlet for my forged 2.5
Ive been told it's the 2012 billet version
How much would it cost to upgrade the newest billet version?
Thanks
Steve
