So to have closed loop wideband fuelling, what is exactly needed? Obviously a wideband O2 sensor, any interface aswell?

Cynical? hardly, we are a business, we do pay business dues, and we can post whatever we like on any part of the forum, depending on protocol.
A new ECU could be fairly described as of interest to techies as well as customers, depending on which hat you've got on!
Whatever, we have no objection at all to being relocated, apologies to those of pedantic disposition.

I'll admit to being quite enthusiastic about something new, we have no axe to grind over any ECU option as we supply and map them all.

No, yours is the earlier one. The new one isn't actually available yet, at least not for around four weeks.

So to clarify, I will have a multi position switch/knob to set the degree of traction control and nothing else?

The reason I asked was the syvecs needs a ground sensor which costs mega money for their traction control to work on a 4 wheel drive car

The above comment is a recommendation based on experience both direct and indirect. Going by the customer support and functions of the Simtek mk.1 I stand by what I said. Now if time proves me wrong then I will retract what I said until then YOU prove that the Simtek mk.2 isn't a case of the Emperor's New Clothes.

I think you'll find as a result of this parting of the ways, that the customer service on both old and new units will improve some what !
