Default Alloy wheel locking nuts?? McGard ?

Evening ya'll. am looking at having the wheels refurbed in the near future and wish to protect my pride and joy with some good quality locking wheel nuts. Now I know a thieving scumbag will do there best but would like to do my best to prevent such an event occurring...... In the past I have gone cheap and cheerful and that got me no where, am looking at various types for the car assuming it is a m12 x1.25 thread. The ones I'm interested in are the McGard, seem to be well priced and have a good rep. Any feedback or info on these?? Thanks max

Max, I've got these McGard STi wheel nuts and they are the mutts nuts.

They can only be removed by the special tool so I'm effect you have 20 locking wheel nuts.

I've got them on mine max, very nice they are too, not cheap but you wouldn't want to have replace those wheels!! Think Ty has them too.

true true they appear to be a tad expensive for a bit of alloy! well I don't want to be a copy cat but needs must....... ive only seen sets of 4 for sale. admittently I haven't looked hard, the exports assisting in that. I can assume that somewhere will sell a full set of twenty or ill have five different locking nut tools?!! ???

That's either because I'm an exceptional driver or I've hardly used the car.

They're very good quality, get them bought Max as better to pay £95 for a set of quality nuts rather than having to replace a set of 4 wheels.

Exceptional driving surely

been looking at the places in hirwaun for powder coating/ refurbs that we may have spoken about. Got info on two places, can you remember the name of the one we spoke about..... PPS powdercoating or LA powdercoating? P.M me if you fancy. Robbie mentioned getting in touch with evil.soup as he thinks he sorted out a discount for the wheels, so im hunting for that at the mo!

It's PPS Max, they just powder coated some brackets for me, very good price and quick turnaround.
