Hello. I came to your last 2 days at blyton in my little red swift gti and would love to come again if there is room?
unfortunately the swift had to be broke up the day after the last meet in september due to loss of storage (really depressing after such a great day!) but the car didn't cost me anything after parts sold well on ebay!
im currently trying to source another trackday car for this year - il keep an eye on your section + let you know if i can find a car!
Let us know if you get a car, you're more than welcome to come along. I'll pop you on the interested list for now, secure by deposit when you're certain you're coming
I don't think anyone's ever bothered Lee. We don't have racing on track, just 5 cars at a time with no overtaking unless sanctioned by the leading car. We have certainly never had anyone hit another vehicle through using this policy, although we did have one car roll with thankfully no injuries. Most other mishaps have resulted in scuffs, minor dings and the odd bit of plastic flying off, but the majority of people go, enjoy and come home without damage, expense or problem.
CB - Know we've got to be a bit stricter about access this year but will we be able to set a camera near the hairpin as that's where the best action takes place?
Did I read somewhere a professional photographer will be there? How about someone to video the day etc?
This is not a bad idea..
There's a few decent photographers within the club, so we have that covered, but a few quid on top could get a pro-video guy in for the day... We then sell the CD's / DVD's on a non-profit basis (or small fee to charity) and we have a fine record of the day...
Every one happy to chip in an extra ~£5 (if 30 people turn up) to make this happen?
Anyone know of a pro-outfit able to make it on the day?

I think it would cost a fair bit to get a pro vid guy to turn up, especially when they could be doing a wedding for £300+ so it would end up being as much as the track... pretty sure if we give everyone a lesson on holding the cam steady and shooting smoothly then we'de get some good footage to cobble together... especially with Scg's talents, I'd rather drop him a few bib than anything... Sticky does a good editing job also...
BTW I'll be taking the Atom with some cheap tyres this time...
