Default Anyone had buckets fitted?

Got 2 fixed bucket seats (at last!) but I'm totally clueless as to where to get them fitted. BTRprep in Cas quote 2 days work and a figure of up to £600. Other garages further a field are quoting 4 hours and about £160.

Anyone had buckets seats fitted to their car and who did the work?

Anyone interested in my standard 2003 WRX seats?

What do you mean by fixed bucket seats? I've fitted bucket seats before in a few cars, can give you hand if you want. Do you have the subframes for the seats?

Not reclining! I've got everything, side mounts and sub frame kit. Just waiting for spacers for the subframe to be posted out as Motordrive didn't have any in stock.

The subframe is 2 tubes and brackets so I don't know if it's a welding job?

Those seats are gorgeous!

Erm, can't picture it to be honest, can always have a look at the subframes and see what's involved.

You should have bought specific sub frames, no point messing with the wleded jobbies.

I bought universal buddyclub sliders for my 6rs and whcih came with side mounts, everthign just bolted in place.

GF seems to know more about cars than me and says the subframe poles will need to be cut to fit and spacers and brackets that the side mounts bolt onto will need to be welded to them. Seems a right ball ache.

The side mounts seem pretty basic.

Booked them for fitting at The Racing Line at the end of July!

Gonna get an oil and filter change too as the engine is sounding rough, very ticky. The subaru log book says change every 9k but a web site states every 3k for urban driving.

Login | Facebook - got a clip of my car at Asda last night, not sure if it can be viewed by others.

Thinking nearest offer tbh, not sure of the going rate.

I've got 2 Alpine V12 amps and 2 sets of Kenwood HQ 7x10's for sale too if anyone's interested?

Finally fitted but please be wary of taking your Scooby to The Racing Line in Halifax as they don't give 2 f**ks about them

Aircon removal - before and after!
