They did my first set, after a run in the Dales they were all cracked, had to scrap'em all.
LSN charged £100 for 17's and £120 for 18's. Still going well after a year or so.

Another vote for LSN, and a 2nd NO for the other supplier, they did a set that failed for Sarah and hubby's wagon IIRC...

P.S. Nearer 50% more for spraying, IMHO.

Wheel Specialists in Garforth do a really good job. They're a little expensive but I found from experience that some places just paint the wheels or use a fast drying wet paint which looks good to begin with but doesn't after the acid in the alloys makes its mark.

Wheel specialist blast them to remove top layer, rebuild the wheel if damaged any where, powdercoat twice so it lasts then they fit and balance wheels.12 months warranty on their work.

Had my gold wheels done by then but like I said they're expensive, about £68 per corner on 17s.

Wheel Specialists have plenty of big machines in their building, one of them must be designed to fix buckled alloys.

costs nothing to call and ask 0113 287 3005.

i second these, i used LSN until the guys parted... midas is one half of the old LSN.

other more expensive companies are just using these guys for the coating anyway. they can remove/replace tyres too!!

DONT USE CAS COATING BRADFORD !!

I had a set coated here they were on for no more than 6 months and all 4 cracked. I spoke to they guy and to his credit he did offer to coat anymore I bought for free but having wasted 120 for coating and 150 on the wheels I thought it best I just cut my losses.

I`m now looking for somewhere to have new wheels done, Ive just seen a few places on this thread.

Cheers

Rich

Ye your right I couldnt wait to take another set for him to destroy, at first he had the cheek to say my wheels were prob faulty and that with them been secondhand they could of been cracked before he powder coated them. I then explained the front 2 cracked 1st and few weeks later the other 2 cracked. He then explained that he knew of a few wrx wheels cracking but unless they were brand spanking new he couldnt guarantee them Why the hell he didnt he explain that to me before I spent my hard earned money I have no idea, What really got my goat was that I only knew they were broken because the misses borrowed my car to go to work coz hers was been mot`d, and when she was going to work she noticed a sound from the front wheels and took it to local garage when on her break to find they had nearly snapped risking both my partners life and my sons !!!

NOT HAPPY IS THE UNDERSTATEMENT OF THE YEAR

On a happier note I have found a place in Castleford called Midas Touch http://www.midastouchgb.co.uk/polishing.htm They charge £160 for 17" wheels that includes stripping them repairing them if they need it, removing/refitting trye and balancing them back up. I had a good word with the bloke there and he knew his stuff and said he`d neva experienced anything like it in the 15yrs he`d been coating wheels. He thought the other place had over cooked them.
