I have a 96 uk spec classic with Speedline 16" alloys and want to upgrade to 4 pots.

Unless you want to go to the expense of bigger wheels, (go on, you know you do.. ), the only calipers that will fit are those off 99 onwards cars, with "SUBARU" in relief down the front of the caliper.
They are 4-pot and need the discs that go with them, but will fit under your wheels.

Try breakers, but they are becoming rare, so don't expect cheap

Don't think the Suabru (Nissin) calipers will fit behind the std subaru fit Speedline alloys, the wheel offset will not allow it. You would need to upgrade your wheels. The MY99/00 turbo alloys clear the calipers okay and I think these were the first model to have the 4pots fitted.

might be worthwhile posting a piccy of your wheels as Mantazinis are standard subaru 16" wheels for the STIs (these were then put onto later model classic imprezas)
