WYIOC SANTA CRUISE
Right guys and girls,at the last meeting we had some ideas, about xmas and most of us thought that a santa cruise would a good idea, semo and myself have been in touch with some places such as childrens hospices, the plan would be we need as many cars as there are reindeers and we have the names of the reindeer on each individual car, we go to the hospice and hand out the presents and the kids have their photo taken in the car of their choice,. First of all what we need to do is, get some interest from the club and then i know how many people can make it, then i can phone and confirm it with the hospice, semo has his name on rudolph with his car being red, so get your names down and put a smile on a childs face this xmas. cheers DEBBIE

i just thought it would make it special for the kids , its nice to see something like this for kids well done to debs let me know roughly how many photos you expect to take and i will print some special cards from wyioc so the kids have something to keep.

Just an update on the santa cruise, i have spoken to the place where we will be going an the date that the lady came up with was 9th dec at 2.00pm.
I have all the details we need as to what presents to buy for the children, when we get there most of the children can come out side and have their photo taken either in the car or at the side of the car, there are 12 children all together and i have the list of gifts to buy. The only thing sheila did ask was that we kept the number of people down to only 13 as too many people would get the children upset. I did also mention to sheila that we would like to make xmas cards for the kids with the photos on that we would take, and she thought it would be a great idea, so all i need to know is that the date is ok for everyone who have put their names down on the list, as i have to ring back tomorrow and confirm it. cheers stu, that would be great i spoke to alan this morning and we are going to get to the hospice for 3pm instead of 2 as shaun has got footy that sat.
Any donations at the end of month meet would also be great,then we can get the presents ready for that date. DEBBIE

We have currently have £80 sat in the charity coffers. I'll be bringing the footie cards to the EOM so that should raise a further £20. If we take some pledges / donations from people on the day then we should raise a further £60+.
I reckon we can make £200
We'll then divide this equally between the 13 kids and this should be in the region of £15 each. Katrina and Debbie will then work to get some relevant boy / girl & age related presents for the kids... we can wrap them and turn up on the day
Photographers required as Aileen has promised some Xmas cards from the photos..
Better plans to be set over the coming few weeks..
